Like any other DFS app, browse the player projections. You’ll notice we have a lot to chose from! Each projection (more/less) has points associated to them. To select player predictions, click on a specific player of interest and then select “More” or “Less” on specific picks you like.
Each pick on Parlaye is assigned a point value that corresponds directly to its American odds. For example:
A wager at +100 odds is valued at 200 points on Parlaye.
A wager at +200 odds is valued at 300 points on Parlaye.
Points are the deciding factor in each contest, as the user with the highest total points from their picks wins and gets a payout!
You’ll know when it’s time to review your picks as the progress indicator at the bottom screen will go from black to green! Click this now green button to see all three of your selections.
Before submitting your entry, make sure that the following have been carefully selected:
Entry Amount → How much are you willing to spend on a single entry?
No. of Entries → You can submit the entry up to 20 times. This means that you will have generated 20 entries and have up to 20 different opponents.
Potential Payout → This is the maximum return you can expect if you win your contest(s).
This is where Parlaye is different! Instead of us or “the house” playing against you, we match you with another user. Parlaye’s unique algorithm matches you based on Entry Fee, Sport & League, Entry Start Time, etc.
Some important things to note! 
If you are not matched in time for the start of your entry we will give you a full refund.
You are not playing robots or against us — only other real users! Parlaye cannot participate in real money daily fantasy contests as outlined in our terms of use.
We know that the user we match you with is important so we take our time to make sure we get this right. Do not be concerned if you are not matched hours before your entry is supposed to start.
Entries that are identical are not matched.
When all picks are settled, the player with more points wins.
You don’t need to hit every pick — check the example in the screenshot below:
User on the left: 254 points (1/3 picks correct)
User on the right: 225 points (1/3 picks correct)
Even though both only hit one pick, User on the left wins and gets the full 1.8x payout.
Sure, 1.8x payout is lower than other apps. But is it? On Paralye, you play against another user and not the house. With only 1 opponent to beat, you’ve always got at least a 50% chance of winning! Check this example out below.
On other apps, a 6x payout is typically awarded for correctly picking 3 player projections. Because each of these over/under player projections typically have a 50% chance of being correct, you will on average win 12.5% of the time and usually on the last leg of the parlay like our friend on the left in the image above 
.
In the example above, “the house” would have beat both users but because this contest was on Parlaye, and the user on the left finished with more points than their matched opponent, they win 1.8x.
